Christine Moore is a fashion and textile designer whose work explores the intersection of color, texture, and pattern as tools for creating moments of sublimity. Rooted in a maximalist aesthetic, her designs challenge conventional boundaries by transforming garments into emotional and visual experiences that reclaim identity and culture. Each collection becomes an exploration into tension: between restraint and excess, craft and concept and, softness and structure.
Christine earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design with a minor in Textile Design from Moore College of Art & Design (2018–2022), where she began developing her creative and technical skills. Here is where she first encountered the knitting machine. This discovery shaped her design process, and she now saw fashion not just as clothing, but as sculpture, allowing her to manipulate texture and silhouette directly on the body.
To further develop her education, Christine pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art & Design (2022–2024). Her graduate work expanded her exploration of knitwear as an expressive medium, emphasizing experimentation, process, and the emotional toll of design.
Christine’s work has been showcased at New York Fashion Week, featured in Adi Oasis’ “Red to Violet” music video, and utilized in Moore College of Art & Design’s 2022 Senior Fashion Show press materials. She has also received two honorable mentions at the 2023 International Design Awards.
